Privacy Policy

PLEASE READ THIS POLICY REGARDING OUR
PRIVACY PRACTICES CAREFULLY.

As a VitalKey customer, your privacy and the security of your personal information is important to us. This Privacy Policy tells you how we protect and use information that customers provide to Vital Data, LLC. We encourage you to carefully review this Privacy Policy when you order your VitalKey and every time you visit the www.vitalkey.com website (“the Website”). By ordering a VitalKey and by using the Website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, which we may change at any time and for any reason. Questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy should be directed to the address and/or email address listed below.

Our Commitment to Privacy and Security

We understand that personal information — personal medical information in particular — is highly confidential. Accordingly, Vital Data, LLC will not release any of your personal information to any unaffiliated company unless authorized by you or by applicable law, except as provided in this Privacy Policy. (Any information provided to entities affiliated with Vital Data, LLC will be treated in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.) We will not rent or sell your information for marketing purposes.

We acknowledge that the personal information that you provide to Vital Data, LLC must be kept secure. To this end, we employ security measures on the Website to reasonably protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. In addition, we use VeriSign's secure server and industry-standard SSL technology to ensure that the data is encrypted during transmission. We cannot, however, and we do not, guarantee that every Internet transmission is completely secure or error-free.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information that you voluntarily provide about yourself (and, where applicable, your family members) only in connection with the production and support of your VitalKey. The personal information that you provide typically includes your name, address, email address, phone number, credit/debit card information and personal health information. With exception, we do not share this information with outside parties. We may share personal information to the extent necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Vital Data, LLC or our customers. Also, we periodically employ third parties to perform various functions on our behalf. Such functions may include, for example, Website hosting, data analysis, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. The third parties performing such functions will have access to your personal information solely as may be necessary for them to perform such functions.

Except as described above, personal background information and data that you disclose to Vital Data, LLC are not shared with anyone. We may, however, use non-identifying and aggregate information (i.e., non-personal information) to better design the Website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

This Website may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that Vital Data, LLC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Website and to read the privacy statement of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.

We use email addresses supplied by customers: to provide confirmation of transactions and customer-related information; to answer email that we receive from customers and other site visitors; and to alert customers and other visitors of special VitalKey promotions. Such email addresses are not shared with outside parties, except as described above. You can register with our Website if you would like to opt-in to receive our newsletter, as well as updates on our new products, services and promotions. At any time, you may choose to opt out by responding “Unsubscribe” in the subject line of an email communication.

Children's Privacy
