So you want to help?

Great! You don’t have to be a doctor, a first responder, a politician or an HR director to get involved. And you don’t need to spend lots of time.

We’re changing medicine, and we could use your mouth and your mouse.

It’s one of the leading causes of death in the U.S., but for some reason, the tragedy of deadly medical errors that could have been avoided has not yet struck a chord on the hearts of Americans.

We believe this is purely a function of ignorance. People just don’t understand the issue... how prevalent it is... and what they can do to protect themselves. You can help.

Easy Ways You Can Get Involved

• Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about the VitalKey and the danger of medical errors.
• Tell your doctor about the VitalKey – or better yet – show yours to her, and suggest that she become a VitalKey Affiliated Practice.
• Tell your employer about the VitalKey and suggest they add it to their menu of benefits. Remember, you can pay for your VitalKey through your flexible spending account (FSA).
• Spread the word about the VitalKey symbol. This is how first responders know you are carrying your medical records with you. VitalKey holders place this symbol on their cars, near their front door on their house, on their driver’s licenses and on their cell phones
• Share your VitalKey story with us so that we can share it with others. We’ll give you a VitalKey T-shirt when you do!
• If you’re involved with a non-profit, suggest that they use the VitalKey as a fundraising campaign.

If You Have a Web Site...

• If you’re a blogger, write a post about the VitalKey with a link to the site. Send us a link to your post along with your shirt size, and we’ll send you a VitalKey T-shirt.

• Become a VitalKey affiliate. Make money while you use your site to spread the word about the VitalKey. Contact us and request our Affiliate Program materials.
